Herbistry420 – Empowering Minds with Knowledge About Cannabis > Edibles > Weed Lemonade Recipe — 3 Refreshing Ways to Infuse
weed lemonade recipe

This weed lemonade recipe from Herbistry420 uses fresh-squeezed lemon juice, cannabis sugar, and canna syrup combined into a single-serve double infused cannabis lemonade. It takes under 5 minutes to make, requires no cooking, and is one of the easiest fresh lemon cannabis drink recipes on the channel. Fordee covers 3 different infusion methods so you can use whatever you have on hand.

3 Ways to Infuse Your Weed Lemonade Recipe

There are three main options for infusing this weed lemonade recipe. Each integrates differently in the drink:

  • Canna syrup lemonade recipe — Cannabis simple syrup blends seamlessly into lemonade because it is water-based. It dissolves completely and distributes the THC evenly. This is the smoothest option for texture and flavour.
  • Cannabis sugar lemonade — Cannasugar dissolves in the drink, but THC can stick to the sides of the glass or float to the top before fully mixing. Stir well and drink promptly. Cannabis sugar lemonade is convenient if you already have a batch of cannasugar made.
  • Cannabis tincture — A few drops of Green Dragon or Gold Dragon tincture works well in lemonade. The alcohol base does not fully integrate the way syrup does, so you may notice small droplets of tincture. Still effective. Dose carefully — tincture concentration varies widely.

Fordee uses canna syrup and cannabis sugar together in this video because his syrup was mild — combining them creates a double infused cannabis lemonade with a higher combined dose.

Ingredients for This Weed Lemonade Recipe (1 Serving)

  • 1.5 to 2 fresh lemons (yields about 50 ml fresh lemon juice)
  • Water — approximately 4:1 to 5:1 ratio to lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cannasugar
  • 2 tablespoons cannabis simple syrup (canna syrup)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: fresh raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries

How to Make This Weed Lemonade Recipe

Step 1: Juice the Lemons

Juice 1.5 to 2 lemons using a manual hand juicer. Aim for about 50 ml of fresh lemon juice. Use your hand over the juicer to catch any pips. If the lemon is firm, roll it on the counter first to loosen the juice. This is your fresh lemon cannabis drink base — fresh juice is far better than bottled for this recipe.

Step 2: Add Water and Ice

Pour the lemon juice into a glass with ice. Add cold water at a 4:1 to 5:1 ratio — so about 200–250 ml of water for 50 ml of lemon juice. Adjust to taste. The cannabis sugar lemonade will sweeten it significantly, so do not add extra regular sugar at this stage.

Step 3: Add the Infused Sweeteners

Add 1 tablespoon of cannasugar and stir well to dissolve. Then pour in 2 tablespoons of canna syrup. This creates the double infused cannabis lemonade effect — two separate sources of THC in one glass. Stir thoroughly. If using a canna syrup lemonade recipe with only syrup (no sugar), double the syrup amount to compensate.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

Add raspberries or other berries if desired. Serve immediately. The cannasugar can settle or stick to the glass over time — drink promptly or stir again before finishing.

Dosage Notes

Fordee estimates his double infused cannabis lemonade was approximately 40 mg THC — 1 tablespoon of cannasugar plus 2 tablespoons of canna syrup (both mild batches). A single tablespoon of his syrup alone produced no noticeable effect. If your syrup or sugar is stronger, reduce amounts accordingly. Always start with half the dose and wait 90 minutes before adding more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use store-bought lemonade instead of fresh lemons?

Yes, but the flavour is noticeably different. Store-bought lemonade often contains citric acid and artificial flavours that compete with the cannabis notes. A fresh lemon cannabis drink using real squeezed lemon juice tastes better and allows you to control the sugar level more precisely.

Why is my weed lemonade not potent enough?

If your weed lemonade recipe is not producing effects, the most likely cause is weak infusion. Fordee’s syrup only had about 14 grams of cannabis per 14 oz batch — a stronger batch uses 14+ grams. If your cannabis sugar lemonade is weak, increase the potency of your next cannasugar or canna syrup batch, rather than adding more volume of a weak infusion (which makes the drink overly sweet).

Can I make a pitcher of this weed lemonade recipe?

Yes. Scale all ingredients proportionally. For a pitcher (6 servings), use 9 lemons, scale the water accordingly, and multiply the cannabis sugar and canna syrup by 6. Label the pitcher clearly and keep away from children and non-consenting guests.
